The "Water Cube"
The Beijing Winter Olympics will be held from February 4-20, 2022, with 7 major events, 15 sub-events, and 109 minor events.
The "Water Cube" is the nickname of the National Aquatics Center, an iconic venue of the Beijing Olympic Games, which has hosted Olympic water competitions such as swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, etc. In order to prepare for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games curling and wheelchair curling competitions, the venue completed the conversion of swimming pool and ice rink for the first time in 2019, becoming the first venue in the world to complete the "ice and water conversion This is the world's first arena to complete the "ice to water conversion".
